“Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and He saveth them out of their distresses. He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
– Psalm 107:19-20
“For Thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling…What shall I render unto the Lord for all His benefits toward me? I will take up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.”
– Psalm 116:8, 12-13
The year 2020 has brought unexpected challenges to the missions work and humanitarian outreach of World Missionary Evangelism. The spread of COVID-19 has affected countries all over the world, and this includes the places where WME works.
In developing countries, poverty and lack pose a daily battle for survival in the best of times. Healthcare systems are inadequate to care for medical needs, particularly for those without the money to pay. Slum areas cram impoverished families into small spaces with deplorable sanitation. People search for clean
WME Missionaries praying over the food they have packaged and are about to distribute to the poor.
