WHAT DOES YOUR ORGANISATION DO? We help businesses by offering the RSA SecurID® Suite which uses identity insights, threat intelligence and business context to provide access to all their users, across all their applications, in a simple and secure manner without needing complex passwords.


HOW DID IT ALL START? Forced through redundancy, I entered the world of IT sales, introducing Olivetti PCs and UNIX -based accounting applications to a largely ignorant market. This led to a growing urge to run my own business, which I started in 1992.


WHAT’S YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT SO FAR? To have carved a career over 30 years, while maintaining a decent quality of life with a wife and two great kids.


WHAT KEEPS YOU AWAKE AT NIGHT? When something exciting is in the pipeline, like winning a new contract/client, and waiting for their PO!

WHAT’S THE BIGGEST RISK YOU’VE EVER TAKEN – AND DID IT WORK OUT? I have taken many risks in my life, and each one has been successful in affording me the luxury of enjoying the fruits of my labours. One of the most recent risks is opening up to the concept of collaboration with people in the same industry, without fear of being shafted.


WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE STARTING OUT? Don’t overthink the process. If you have faith in yourself, the gamble will pay off.


WHICH BUSINESS PERSON DO YOU MOST ADMIRE? I admire Bill Gates for his canny approach to reinventing existing technologies and presenting them as his own.


WHAT EXCITING PROJECTS IS YOUR ORGANISATION WORKING ON? Those that allow a degree of freedom to implement the best solutions, and then watching them being used.


WHAT MADE YOU JOIN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE CHAMBER AND HOW ARE YOU MAKING USE OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP? Launching C4 Secure required credible exposure, and letting the market know what we do quickly meant joining the Chamber was a no-brainer. We participate in appropriate events and advertise, keeping our profile continuously at the forefront.
