throwing shit atem’, and callin’ them Cracka’s and Uncle Toms and other derogatory racial slurs. At some point we’re gonna’ run outta’ hon- est people who’re willing to do these jobs, under those conditions, for that amount of money. I hope this ain’t the way we end up destroying or de-populating our police departments of good honest cops. Because I can assure you, the racist ones left are just gonna’ double-down on their be- havior.

We need jobs, access to capital to start

businesses and buy homes, and affordable healthcare. Each of these centuries old problems will still be here after all the confederate statues are torn down, and all the stadiums and public buildings are renamed - after originally being named after a racist person. And these are just symbolic wins that will not change the conditions in the Black community or our individual lives in any way, shape, or form. Embracing these 8-de- mands will not only provide immediate relief from the abuse we’ve encountered from White police officers since the origin of policing in this country - but several long-term benefits as well. Nevertheless, we will have some corrupt

new Black officers in our communities as well, but over a short period of time the collective pres- sure of the neighborhoods should weed them out. But if properly implemented, I think the US Black community can shock the world by lowering the overall crime rate in our communities by 60-75% over that 15-year period. Without outside influ- ence from police officers that are either scared of us or just continuing business as usual in this country for policing our neighborhoods - we will flourish. And that will only happen if we embrace being policed by our own kind. That means re- specting our exclusive Black police officers, com- plying with their instructions, not resisting arrest and fleeing, community members cooperating with police investigations, and finally helping them rid our community of drugs. Because once we get the occupying force

outta’ our community, and get all of the racist and violent depictions of us outta’ the media - the drugs are the one thing that will keep us from moving forward. And we’ve gotta’ accept our por- tion of the responsibility in this mess we’ve got our communities into. Their so-called “War with Drugs” has worked even better than they planned

on us. Since they placed it in our communities: Too many of us are either killin’ and robbin’ each other to getem’, killing each other for turf to sell it on, that we don’t even own - or being mass-incar- cerated at a mind-boggling rate for engaging in the drug game in any way. And leaving millions of kids left to either being raised by the grandpar- ents, an aunt, cousin, brother/sister - or the streets.

With our communities safe and drug free,

and those problems in our past, we now become a very attractive placed to build new businesses - retail, factories, distribution centers, office parks, and affordable housing developments - not proj- ects. We can then solicit real global investment in our communities. That’s right, we need to stop lookin’ at just White people to invest in us. As a matter of fact, we’ve been asking them for 400- years - and the answer has always been a re- sounding - Hell naw! White Americans are not the only ones who’ve benefitted and built massive amounts of wealth in this new global economy. There are entrepreneurs and companies all over the globe that would love to invest in safe com- munities with an abundance of hardworking peo- ple. People who have pride in their community, and has just proven to the world that they can control their own destiny. And I expect White American investors will start to see us as a viable community to invest in as well. I’m envisioning there being a very smartly

developed flourishing Black business district in every major and mid-sized city in this country being created as a direct result of these 8-de- mands. The cultural richness of our communities can be on par with the many Chinatowns in this country, Little Havana, Little Italy, and many other minority groups with economically power- ful and culturally rich communities in America. I see a future where global tourist come to the US “wanting” to visit the African-American Black communities, and paying to enjoy our food, our performing arts, buy our clothes, and seeking the opportunity to experience our rich history and culture.

Blacks have built these types of communi-

ties in this country before - with banks, insurance companies, legal and medical infrastructure, and full retail sectors with our own supply chain. These were thriving Black communities that were
