Ingo Bitzer is the new Managing Director of the MAT Transmission Division and CEO of MAT Europe


The long-standing CEO of the


BLANK corporate group has taken on the role of Managing Director of the international MAT group. At the turn of the year 2020, the


MAT Transmission Division – a business unit of the British corporate group MAT Foundry Group Ltd. – carried out an internal change of management and, with Ingo Bitzer, it has gained an experienced manager in the automotive supplier industry.

which Ingo Bitzer became Managing Director from January 2020, is a business unit of the MAT Foundry Group Ltd. and it unites the Germany-based companies MAT Foundries Europe GmbH in Neunkirchen (Saarland), MAT Machining Europe GmbH in Immenhausen (Hessen), Präzisionstechnik Resources Altenburg GmbH in Altenburg (Thuringia), Schmidt Automotive GmbH with sites in Westhausen- Lippach (Baden-Württemberg) and Eberswalde (Brandenburg) as well as the American machining location in Auburn (Alabama). After completing his studies in Mechanical Engineering as a graduate engineer, he commenced his career, passing through numerous professional stations in the industry with international responsibility in various positions including in India, Portugal and Japan. Ingo


Bitzer’s professional


development has been marked and characterised by technological advances, digitalisation and active co-development and optimisation of company processes. In these processes, his attention has mainly been directed towards the involvement of employees and development of the teams because it is only when they are able to identify with the company and its products
