• Lethbridge & District Music & Speech Arts Festival will take place March 23-April 4 at various venues across the city. Help celebrate the landmark 90th annual festival and sample some of the amazing talent in our city. Join the Lethbridge & District Music & Speech Arts Festival as they present the 2020 Musical Theatre Showcase Concert. • 16th annual Wood’s Homes Children’s Benefit Gala will be held March 28 at 5:30 p.m. at the Coast Hotel Lethbridge, in support of the emergency youth shelter, The CORE. This 8-bed facility provides youth under the age of 18 with a bed, 3 meals a day, laundry facilities, showers, clothing and crisis counselling and support services. This year’s gala includes a musical performance of “Frozen” by students of St. Francis Middle School, a streamlined check-in, a condensed program, an amazing meal sponsored by College Ford Lincoln, “back-to-paper” silent and live auctions and entertainment by The Chevelles. The gala is presented by Matt and Catherine Furukawa along with College Ford Lincoln.
