Tell us about your horses.
Gosh I am very lucky I have had some amazing ponies and horses over the years many of which were home bred by my Mum and always home produced. Blacky, Copper King, Celebrity and Ferrari being the best.
I currently have four (too many!):
Skipper Robin (ROR Ex Nigel Twiston Davis), a 14 year old, Bay 16.2, who is great at Team Chasing, Showing, Inter Hunt relays & Arena Eventing. ROR Champs in showing and Show Jumping
Chef Junior (ROR Ex Nicky Henderson), a 15 year old, Bay, 16.2. Best team chaser and Hunt Rides done Golden Button & Har- bourgh
Supreme Ambition aka Bug (ROR Ex Katie Price the trainer) 9 years old, Steel Grey, 16.3. Inter Team Chaser and Hunt Rides and ROR Showing. Very excited about his prospects if stays sound and healthy
Beetle Irish Sports Horse x TB, age 9 or 10, Bay, 16.1,Mare. Fantastic Pocket Rocket Hunter and Jumping. Bought as project and for sale to a nice home. Jumps for fun. Loves jumping out of field!
What is your ‘can’t live without’ piece of equipment or clothing?
Either my close fit Devoucoux saddle or my crash hat!!
How do you keep your horses fit? Well I am very lucky here in Wiltshire we have the Chalk downs in Fovant and Linda Syckelmoore does most of my fittening. I tend to do the final canter work as I hate the boring walk and trot!! I now have one in livery with Linda and have done for years and years, and three at home.
How do you relax away from horses? Easy. I am now a very keen road cyclist and do about 2500 miles in the summer to keep fit and also running Fox Grant, my campsite and Solstice Festival in the Summer fills my diary.
Do you have any other pets? Yes three Alpacas, Whiskey, Bailey & Guinness, 3 cats and two dogs, Tia & Poppey.
