Oxford University Press and The Mandela Rhodes Foundation formed an innovative partnership in 2008


Oxford University Press pledged to promote leadership and scholarship in Africa by paying dividends to the Mandela Rhodes Foundation every year for their annual scholarships


Support for the chosen students reaches beyond pure administration through:


• Assigning a mentor to each scholar • Providing structured leadership development retreats for scholars as a group


• Focusing on reconciliation and entrepreneurship to assist students to become agents of change in their communities
