Christmas Carol Concert
Rochester Cathedral, Rochester The event features excerpts from Handel’s Messiah and carols for all. Performers include the Rochester Cathedral Choir and the Rochester Children’s Choir. The event runs from 7.30pm to 8pm. Doors open at 6.45pm. Tickets cost £18 per person.
December 7 Bird Walk with a Ranger
Riverside Country Park, Gillingham
Come and join a ranger on a gentle Sunday morning walk to identify the most common birds seen or heard along the estuary. The event will run from 10am to 12pm. Tickets are £4 per person. Booking is essential as places are limited.
Come along and support volunteers by purchasing your natural Christmas decorations and other gifts produced, including their calendar. Prices start from £5. Meet them in the picnic area near the flagpole from 10am to 12pm.
December 8 Winter Birds
Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve and Jeffery Harrison Visitor Centre, Sevenoaks A warden will guide you around the centre and show you the different birds that make the reserve their home for the winter. The event runs from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Tickets cost £6 for adults and £3 for children.

Rose pruning Scotney Castle, Lamberhurst Hear how gardeners winter prune shrubs, hybrid tea and climbing roses and get them looking their best for spring. This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue. Meet at 2pm by the walled garden gate.
December 15 Kenward Trust Carol
Service St Paul’s Church, Yalding
The event takes place from 3pm and there will be refreshments afterwards and the opportunity to purchase some handmade Christmas creations, which make the perfect gift.
December 19 Christmas Word
Buddy Club Kent History and Library Centre, Maidstone

The event is full of Christmas themed reading, writing and craft activities for you and your little ones to get involved in and make new friends. The event runs from 3pm to 4pm. The club is free to attend but booking is required.
December 15 Chislehurst Farmers’

Farm Nativity Kent Life, Sandling
Come and experience the living Nativity with some farmyard friends. Working together with Maidstone Family Church, the event will take you on a journey through the grounds to discover the nativity story scenes and join in the traditional Christmas Carolling. Children are encouraged to dress up so they can be part of the nativity. The nativity starts at 3pm and is included in the general admission cost.

Produce includes seasonal fruit and vegetables, chocolates, cider and alcoholic drinks, bread, meat, cheese, preserves and sauces and much more. The market is held on the third Sunday of the month and is open to the public between 10am and 2pm.
