The annual festive market is back for another year. Kick-start your Christmas shopping and enjoy local food, drink, crafts and produce. Get ideas for all those special gifts, plus treats for you and the family. There will also be live entertainment, with the Cranbrook Band playing on Saturday and Kent Police Band playing on Sunday. Gates open at 10.15am for a 10.30am start. The event will finish at 3pm. The market will take place outside of the garden.


Explore the garden this winter with a Christmas family trail. See if you can spot the magical fairies hiding around the gardens and enjoy the beautifully decorated evergreens along the way. Tickets are £1 and admission applies. The event runs from 10am to 3pm. Booking is essential, visit www.nationaltrust. org.uk/emmetts-garden

Outdoor Ice Skating Eastwell Manor, Ashford


Enjoy a fun-filled festive day out with an outdoor skating rink. Get in the spirit of Christmas with mulled wine and mince pies. Get your skates, and wrap up warm. The rink is open from 2pm to 8pm Monday to Thursday, and 12noon to 6pm Friday to Sunday. Tickets are £14.50 for adults and £9.50 for children under 12. Skate hire is included in the


ticket price.

As the building is unveiled for the festive season, Santa is here from 11am to 2.30pm and will be handing out gifts to children. There will also be craft activities, a trail for young ones, as well as other fun festivities. This event is free, but normal entry charges apply. The event will run from 10am to 4pm.
