The evolution of serviced properties


LouiseLewis began in 2017 originally with two directors and a small property portfolio, but recently has undergone some new dynamic changes. Sophie Morbey (pictured), the director, has branched out alone to rebrand the business. She has an extensive list of past and future projects including an exciting brand-new house which she will be turning into a house of multiple occupancy in Plymouth. In addition, she has property projects all across the UK. Here she discusses the benefits of converting properties into serviced accommodation.


At LouiseLewis we have made drastic alterations to our Plymouth-based serviced accommodation portfolio. We originally ran 11 properties


but now run five, as we decided that customer service and standards were paramount in comparison to the number of units provided. Back in a position to sustain growth, this is a very exiting time for the company. We work with local landlords to


assist them in minimising property problems and guarantee rent.


Our services are beneficial as


converting their property into serviced accommodation, rather than having typical tenants, provides guaranteed rent without the hassle. Turning property into serviced


accommodation can be much more reliable if you have a trustworthy company behind you. In addition, we offer benefits to landlords as the properties are always in immaculate condition, once returned at the end of any agreed contract.


We use our years of property


experience to help aid landlords to maximise the capabilities of their properties. Recently, at one of our larger properties, Torvale Lodge in Brixton, the landlord invested in the property by altering the sundeck and BBQ area, adding a jacuzzi and a further golf course and Swedish sauna. These additions have impacted the customer’s experiences largely which in turn is reflected in our reviews. Alongside improving the


properties and maintaining their high standards, we are always trying to improve our customer satisfaction. At LouiseLewis we offer bespoke


packages, extra services, shuttle transfers and discounts for returning customers and direct bookings. We work very closely with


corporate clients, providing a home away from home experience for their staff and contracting employees, ensuring their rest rate is maximised on our behalf. We have continuously obtained


amazing reviews especially in relation to the communication by our staff and recently, we have taken on a new Guest Reservations Manager to maintain our great

customer service, which we pride ourselves highly in. We look forward to seeing what the future has to offer this company in regards to local project developments, expansion of our serviced accommodation portfolio and the relationships that are constantly being built with third parties.
