Harvest Preview Plug and cool system showcased at Cereals event G


ibbons Agricultural will be showcasing the com- pany’s Plug & Cool Barn


System at this month’s cereals event, which takes place on 12- 13 June at Boothby Graffoe, Lin- colnshire.


Billed as a packaged solution to grain storage, the Plug & Cool system allows farmers to manage crop temperature remotely from a web-based control panel – with the aim of saving time and mon- ey post-harvest. Each system is bespoke, with the capacity for multiple fans within crop stores of all sizes. Once the desired temperature is set, wireless probes in the pile of grain communicate continuous- ly with the panel to ensure con- sistent and accurate tempera- ture control.


The system comprises high-performance fans with a fi ve-year warranty and a set of durable and innovative pedes- tals or laterals. Unveiled for the
