Simplify Equipment Financing with AgDirect Mobile

Calculate loan and lease payments anytime, anywhere

In today’s highly competitive ag equipment financing environment, having the right financial tool can make a big difference when securing a sale. And that’s why more dealers are using the AgDirect Mobile app for the edge they need to sell equipment.

As an all-in-one equipment financing tool, AgDi- rect Mobile allows users to access current AgDi- rect interest rates, calculate individual payment quotes and compare payment options side-by-side from their mobile phone or tablet.

“When AgDirect Mobile was first rolled out in 2012, there were various payment calculator apps available, but none of them were geared toward the ag equipment industry,” said Chris Steinkamp, Iowa AgDirect territory manager.

“Our goal was to give dealers and customers direct access to all the tools they need to explore their financing options while affording them the ability to operate remotely with a mobile-friendly platform that was simple and easy to use,” he said.

Enhancing the user experience

The basic functionality of the AgDirect Mobile app allows users to calculate both loan and lease payments on an annual, semiannual, quarterly or monthly basis.

Other key features include access to real time in- terest rates, a downloadable lease residual matrix, cost/hour versus cost/acre comparisons, and the ability to save and compare finance options, and to email or text payment quotes.

The app also includes Secure Snap, a digital tool that allows AgDirect equipment salespeople to securely send driver’s license images, financial documents and other personal information to the

AgDirect finance team using their mobile device.

“In today’s business world, customers expect an immediate response,” said Steinkamp. “With Ag- Direct Mobile, dealers have a tool at their finger- tips that can accommodate their customer’s needs without delay.”

“Getting financing approval on a piece of equip- ment can sometimes be as much of a job as getting the sale, but AgDirect has been a key partner in helping streamline that process,” said Eric Schnelle, president of S & H Farm Supply, a four-store New Holland dealership based out of Lockwood, Missouri.

“I encourage our sales staff and finance managers to use the AgDirect Mobile app,” he said. “It’s a quick and easy tool for quoting payments and it’s beneficial from a marketing perspective, too.”

A continued focus on the user experience recently resulted in an app update inspired by dealer feed- back. The latest AgDirect Mobile features include the ability to calculate rate buydowns, including interest waivers, split rates or full buydowns, final rate after a cash discount, and thumbprint or facial recognition sign-in depending on the user’s mobile device.

“At AgDirect we’re always trying to stay ahead of the curve and keep up with customer demand,” said Steinkamp. “We are committed to helping users get the most value out of the app so they can improve efficiency and remain competitive.”
