4 VINTAGE FLORALS
One of the prettiest interior design trends for the new season is vintage florals and given that our gardens are bursting with flowers and new foliage right now, it seems appropriate that we should be bringing fresh blooms into our homes on furnishing fabrics too. The Helmsley Blush range from Dibor, for example, a beautiful flower print design on a crisp white background that sums up an English summer’s day perfectly, is lovely for use indoors or out, while The Maldives fabric collection from iLiv includes contemporary flora and fauna illustrations in varying scales, inspired by the beauty and intense colours found on tropical isles [left].

4 GOING FOR BOLD
Strong, bold colours are making a big comeback now – from deep blue, mauve and frosty grey, through merlot and cranberry, to opulent olive green. They’re colours that work equally well in traditional and contemporary spaces, on walls and woodwork and they can also look fabulous underfoot. Make a trend-led style
statement this spring with single bold colours on blinds and shutters, or keep things more subtle with a row of bold tiles for kitchen splashbacks [right].
