one-nighters pass you by… • Paul Young (6th May): this 1980s crooner marks 35 years since the release of his seminal album, No Parlez. • The Solid Gold Rock’n’Roll Show (7th May): here to celebrate Marty Wilde’s 80th birthday. • Rebels And Romantics (9th May): The Marlowe’s orchestra in residence, the Philharmonia Orchestra, will be playing Beethoven, Sibelius and Tchaikovsky in a concert entitled Rebels And Romantics, all conducted by the electrifying Estonian conductor Paavo Järvi. • The Kingdom Choir (27th May): amazing sounds from the sensational group who performed at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle last May. • Visit marlowetheatre. com for times & prices.
Calling budding beachcombers Half-term seaside-inspired workshops, simply bring along items you fi nd on the beach and discover creative ways of painting with them. • 29th May, 10am-11am, Collage the Seaside (under-6s); 2pm- 3pm, Draw the Seaside (6yrs and over). • 30th May, 10am-11am, Paint the Seaside (under- 6s); 2pm-3pm, Paint the Seaside (6yrs and over).
