A selection of Wartime magazines from the Wehrmacht 1939-45, including five copies of Der Adler, the Luftwaffe’s pictorial wartime magazine, covering the dates 30 September 1941 to 14 June 1943 and 7 March to 27 July 1944, all in good condition with many excellent and heroic photographs depicting the Luftwaffe’s battles on all fronts; eleven editions of Signal, the popular Werhmacht pictorial magazine, covering the years 1940 to late 1944, many with torn covers but the contents in good condition; together with a copy of post-War Paris Match magazine commemorating the 10th Anniversary of ‘The Fall of Berlin, April to May 1945’, containing many photographs that had never before been published; and two post-War hardback books covering various editions of Signal magazine throughout the Second World War but in English, generally fair condition
An ‘Ehren Chronik’ (Honour Chronicle) photograph album, in almost new condition, unused, full of photographs and nazi propaganda, with pages for personal entries of family, military service &c., with silver blocked Iron Cross to the exterior, very good condition
A large tribute Book to Adolf Hitler 1935-36, commemorating the first 4 years of the Third Reich, profusely illustrated with affixed black and white photographs on every page, the spine damaged and some pages loose; together with approximately 100 photograph cards from the same period (and in many cases identical to those depicted in the book) of the type collected and swapped by the German youth.
Two modern books on the ‘Uniforms, Organisation and History of the Legion Condor,’ by Roger James Bender, containing an original coloured postcard for the Legion Condor’s Victory Parade on its return to Berlin in 1939, stamped and franked 6 June 1939; and ‘Orders, Decorations, Medals, and Badges of the Third Reich’, by David Littlejohn and Colonel C. M. Dodkins, generally good condition
A personal snapshot photograph of Goring inspecting Luftwaffe aircrew during the Battle of Britain, in glazed display frame; and a framed image of the Famous Paratrooper General Kurt Student, the famed leader of the Crete assault, with Hoffmann size image of Student with a now faded signature of Student in the white panel below the image, with an original post war visit card, reasonable condition
A Selection of Second World War Combat Sketches. A collection of approximately 20 black on white and coloured sketches of combat situations with the German Forces, plus some landscapes, apparently all drawn on the Eastern Front, contained in a large folder entitled ‘Wie Die Pflicht Es Befiehlt’, by the renowned War artist SS Kriegsberichter Erich Pakmowski, of which two, both 1943 coloured sketches of German soldiers in the field, have been glazed and framed, good condition (lot)

Four framed examples of a variation of stamps from the Third Reich period, all have been franked, the first a complete set of 3 ‘DEUTSCHES REICH’ pictorial stamps depicting Danzig, Thorn, and Kaub (Rhine), on a wartime envelope dated 12 January 1941; the second a complete set of 13 ‘GROSS DEUTSCHES REICH’ pictorial stamps depicting the 1944 Wehrmacht, on a wartime envelope dated 16 August 1944; the third a complete set of 6 ‘DEUTSCHES REICH’ pictorial stamps depicting the Wartime Reich Postal Service, on a wartime envelope dated 16 August 1944; and the fourth a complete set of 6 ‘DEUTSCHES REICH’ pictorial stamps depicting Adolf Hitler, on a wartime envelope dated 9 September 1944, generally good condition (4)

Three Battle of Britain Prints, the first entitled ‘The Chase’, featuring a Messerschmitt Me 109E being pursued by a Spitfire; the second entitled ‘Victory over Kent’, featuring a downed Messerschmitt Me 109E with its disconsolate Luftwaffe pilot climbing out of the cockpit, being buzzed by a Spitfire, with its canopy drawn back for the pilot to gaze down on the vanquished enemy aircraft; and the third entitled ‘The Height of the Battle - Sunday 15 September 1940’, featuring a Dornier Do 17 being pursued by two Spitfires, all painted and signed by Geoffrey Nuttall, and dated January 1982, September 1982, and April 1985 respectively, all published in association with the Shoreham Aircraft Presentation Society, and all mounted in glazed wooden frames, the attention to correct aircraft detail superb, and in very good condition
A Battle of Britain Anniversary Print, featuring four yellow-nosed Messerschmitt Me 109es in the detailed colours of 5/Jagdgeschwader 1 Freiherr von Richtofen’, in their classic ‘finger four’ formation, painted by Nicholas Trudgian as part of the War in the Air Collection, with dark blue border with includes in gold outline the Luftwaffe badge and an Me 109E ‘Red 4’ with it distinctive Wing’s ‘Tazelwurm’ badge, published by the Military Gallery, Bath, in 1990 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Battle, and mounted in a glazed wooden frame, very good condition
A Battle of Stalingrad Print, featuring a group of German soldiers gathered around their 88mm gun fighting to the last, with the shattered buildings of Stalingrad in the background, painted by Eddie Collier and dated 1993, and mounted in a glazed display frame, good condition (5)
