THE TRADERS MIND

Mental skills, together with pattern recognition, trade execution and post-entry management are among the fundamental abilities of successful

traders. In this second article for FX Trader Magazine, we will

focus on the mental skills that traders should develop in order to make profitable trades. We will see that our beliefs, our mental images, our values, all affect our decisions. And if you become aware that a subconscious mental image can block your decisions, and cancel negative beliefs; or if you are able to replace negative mental images with positive ones; and if you can identify and modify incongruences in your value scale, you will highly increase your chances of having success both in life and in trading.
