Forward Thinking Swim Strategy

Commonwealth silver medalist and future Olympic swimmer, Jacob Peters, 18, is already taking steps to protect his career when he retires from competitive swimming, training to be a swimming teacher with the Institute of Swimming. The world-class athlete, who competes internationally for Team England, made his debut appearance at the Commonwealth Games in 2018, winning a silver medal in the four x 100m relay medley, and competing in three individual events, 50m, 100m and 200m butterfly, reaching the final in each. Peters, who trains at Poole Swimming

Club, completed his A Levels last year and is now a professional athlete, with his focus on the FINA World Aquatics Championships, being held in South Korea in July 2019, and ultimately, the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
