Sunlight dapples through rows of irises, vibrant and muted colors mixing together like an impressionistic painting. h From purple to pink, yellow to russet, or sky blue to white, the diversity of irises is astound- ing. h “They’re the most hardy flower I’ve ever grown,” says Cynthia Galle- gos, a long-time Norfork resident who has grown irises for about 40 years. She has more than 400 different iris varieties on her property, which she sells through her home-based business, Cynthia’s Iris Garden. “I like them all, but I like it when they look deep in color, rich,” she says, leaning over to touch a velvety petal.
