Update: An upgraded high-capacity Wi-Fi system was recently installed giving attendees unlimited free Wi-Fi service for up to 10,000 visitors simultaneously. Also, three new high-def video webcams have been installed on the roof of the convention center and offer 180-degree views of the beach, ocean and amusement piers.

There’s also a host of water sports and cultural sites, as well as more than 8,000 nearby hotel, motel and bed-and-breakfast rooms, plus over 3,000 vacation rentals.


Kalahari Resorts and Conventions is currently expanding its event and meeting space. When finished in late 2019, the convention center will double in size to 205,000-square feet and fea- ture 33 meeting rooms, three ballrooms, ample pre-function spaces, additional load-in and load-out capabilities, and extensive registration and client office spaces.
