MARCH/ APRIL ISSUE

FROM THE EDITOR
WELCOME TO THE MARCH/APRIL ISSUE, THE BIGGEST ISSUE YET, 96 PAGES!
The highlight of the last two months would have to be visiting the yard of
‘Team Stockdale’. The visit marks what we hope will be an ongoing association between Team Stockdale and Central Horse News. See Charley Snowdon’s interview with Joe on page 60. This issue is jam-packed with news, stories and info, including three veterinary articles! There are features on breeding, rehabilitation, holidays and towing. We also, this issue, introduce a new series of articles about ‘old equestrian characters’. There are so many memories out there of wonderful horsey people from our childhood and we thought it would be nice to revisit some of these old characters and tell their story. This issue we revisit Angus Irvine.
We are also proud of a new partnership with British Showjumping, in the form of sponsorship of the West Midlands Club League. We hope that budding showjumpers will be encouraged to join and further their showjumping opportunites.
The nights are drawing out and Spring is nearly upon us. In fact, we had a few days of ‘rugs off’ weather which the horses loved.
Have fun this spring, and we’ll bring you another bumper issue in May.
