The above named pupil wishes to be considered as a candidate for a scholarship. Scholarship awards are honorary although, for exceptional pupils and, at the Head’s discretion, awards for scholarships may be offered up to a maximum of 10% off the full day fee. Any larger awards will be dependent on means testing. Parents of pupils who seek a larger scholarship will be asked to complete a detailed financial declaration (Bursary Form). Parents should be aware that such scholarships / bursaries will be means tested on an annual basis. All scholarships will be reviewed on an annual basis.


Scholarships are offered for Senior School and Sixth Form from September (for pupils from Sibford Junior School or from another school) as follows:

Sibford awards Academic Scholarships, an All-rounder Scholarship as well as subject specific Talent Scholarships for Art, Drama, Music and Sport.


It would normally be expected that successful scholars will be in the top 10% of the national ability range. All scholars will be expected to demonstrate their service to the school and to the wider community.


NB: Scholarship forms must be accompanied by a completed application form and school report if the school is not already in receipt of these. A confidential reference will be requested from the current school where applicable.
