Sixth Form Scholarship


You will need to complete the scholarship form and return it, along with a copy of your child’s most recent school report and evidence to support the application to: The Admissions Office, Sibford School, Sibford Ferris, Banbury OX15 5QL.


Applications for September entry should be received by the last Monday of the preceeding February.


The application will be reviewed and an email will be sent inviting successful candidates to attend a scholarship day in early March. Unsuccessful candidates will be notified.


If successful at assessment, a scholarship offer will be sent via email within a fortnight of the interview. Unsuccessful candidates will also be contacted by email at this stage.


In the event of a scholarship being awarded and accepted, candidates must make a formal application and register to join the school. This offer is dependent on the candidate meeting our usual admission requirements which includes a satisfactory reference from the candidate’s current school.


Existing Senior School scholarship students do not need to re-apply at the end of Year 11 for entry into Year 12 but their award will be subject to annual review.


We currently have a generous fee remission for pupils who have been at Sibford School for a number of years as they enter the Sixth Form. Scholarships at Sixth Form will be for a maximum of 10% of the full day fee and overall awards, when combined with Sixth Form discount, will not exceed 25% of the full day fee.
