LIVE24 IN WYE VALLEY & THE COTSWOLDS // CHRISTMAS 2018 LI VE 2 4 - SEVEN – THE WYE V ALLEY ’ S PREMIER LUXURY LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE

And so to December…a beautiful month spending quality time with friends and family, sharing goodwill and eating far too much... I love a traditional Christmas, waking up early for presents, a superb roast cooked by my mum, with our nearest and dearest around the table, watching old movies, playing games and then the ploughman's supper spread across the dining table for people to dip in and out of during the film breaks.

SALES DIRECTOR Sharon Napper s.napper@hotmail.co.uk 07980 313 916

We do the rounds with cards and presents, fit in a Christmas mass at some point and for me, I always like to take time out on my own to reflect on the year whilst gazing at one of my many Christmas trees. I focus on all the highlights of the year whilst taking in the twinkly lights and carefully gathered ornaments, feeling grateful for my blessings. Amongst the mayhem of the endless parties, guests staying over etc., it’s just nice to take that brief quiet time with a glass of something lovely in hand.

This issue also includes the final part of our Festive Gift Guide, bend the pages, leave the magazine open on your wish list item, go as far as ringing the item in ink – there are some gorgeous ideas for those stuck for what to buy loved ones. There's also a super selection of restaurants you might want to try, as well as beautiful interiors to make your home cosy this festive season.

I like to take the opportunity in the December issue to thank all the supporters of Live 24-Seven, that's our quality advertisers and media partners, interesting contributors and you, our super readers. We appreciate your support and loyalty in whatever form it’s received. It would be remiss of me, as someone who likes to support as many charities as I can, to not say that it's the time of year for reaching out to someone, anyone you feel needs a little company, a call or an invite to dinner.

Whatever your traditions, whatever your plans, have a very merry Christmas...
