oin us in Batavia City Hall Council Chambers with your friends and family for Batavia’s 11th annual Green Night Out


at the Movies featuring The True Cost. The event features our Eco-Expo, environmentally themed movie, and a lively discussion with local experts about the topic of the movie.


The True Cost is a story about clothing. It’s about the clothes we wear, the people who make them, and the impact the industry is having on our world. The price of clothing has been decreasing for decades, while the human and environmental costs have grown dramatically. The True Cost is a groundbreaking documentary film that pulls back the curtain on the untold story and asks us to consider, who really pays the price for our clothing?


Filmed in countries all over the world, from the brightest runways to the darkest


slums, and featuring interviews with the world’s leading influencers including Stella McCartney, Livia Firth, and Vandana Shiva, The True Cost is an unprecedented project that invites us on an eye-opening journey around the world and into the lives of the many people and places behind our clothes.


This is a FREE community event. Please bring your reusable cups and bowls for popcorn and lemonade.

Disco isn’t dead.it’s just taking a nap! Let’s wake it up at our Disco Fever-themed Roller Night at Funway. Shake Your Groove Thang with the whole family and have some funky fun on the roller rink floor. Come dressed in your BEST disco themed outfits! Polyester galore, wrap dresses and bell bottoms will be twirling while our DJ spins Thelma Houston, Peaches and other disco music classics! Kids under Grade 5 must be accompanied by an adult.
