Check out this two-hour class before taking the Driver’s License Renewal Exam. Review traffic laws and signs. Prepare with a practice written test. This class is offered free of charge in cooperation with the Secretary of State’s office. Please call 630-879-5235 to reserve your seat in advance.

AARP Smart Driver Ages 50+

AARP Smart Driver is the nation’s first and largest driver safety course designed especially for drivers age 50 and above. The course covers defensive driving techniques and provides tips for adjusting to the normal changes in vision, hearing, and reaction time associated with aging. Participants will learn about current rules of the road and how to operate their vehicles more safely in today’s increasingly-challenging driving environment. There is no test or examination conducted during the course. Fee of $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members includes a guidebook. Attendees pay the instructor directly on the first day of class, but please call 630-879-5235 to reserve your seat. Participants 55 and older qualify for the mandatory insurance discount in IL. Fee: $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members, payable to instructor on the first day of class.
