What are some basic staples and things you should have in your kitchen? This is the perfect opportunity to learn some simple tips and tricks in the kitchen and get expert advice.

Knife Skills

Almost everything you do in the kitchen revolves around the efficient use of your knives. With practice, you’ll soon find that much of the tedium of cooking prep will disappear. Learn how to slice and dice quickly, how to buy a knife, hone it, chiffonade, supreme, and chop garlic and parsley. If you can, please bring a six or eight-inch knife, a paring knife, honing steel, and 9 x 12-inch cutting board to the session. This session will include a delicious salad lunch made from all you learned. Limited spots available! Register Early!
