26th Annual TALHFA Educational Conference - “Opportunities for Change”


What a wonderful conference – thanks to so many wonderful members and friends!


We appreciate the participation from so many of our members, speakers and sponsors. It was also very exciting to see participation from numerous new attendees and non-members! TALHFA was fortunate to have an impressive array of speakers and educational sessions. A conference such as this is truly a group effort and we had an Exceptional Group!


I think it is safe to say that everyone enjoyed the sessions, the social events, and of course, the beautiful venue. We would like to think that everyone came for the incredible program …. however, the location was certainly a draw. Hyatt Lost Pines Resort was such an inviting venue with a welcoming staff and delicious food. Even in all the wet weather, it was a perfect home for the TALHFA Conference.


Hopefully, everyone involved went home three days later, loaded with enthusi- asm, contact numbers, new information, and ideas for the future of their busi- nesses and communities. These have been the comments we’ve received in the TALHFA office since our return.


The 2018 Speakers and Moderators were extraordinary! We appreciate the generosity with which you shared your time and expertise, making this a valu- able event for all our attendees.


Networking continues to be just as important as the session topics. Learning from the experiences – good and bad – of others is a priceless gift. The partnerships and possibilities of attendees getting to know each other and learning what programs are working in different areas of the state will always be the most exciting product of our conferences.


We would never be able to provide such a wonderful conference each year without the financial support from our Keys to Success - many dedicated Supporters and Exhibitors. We are all so grateful for their continued financial support of our programs and their willingness to provide their expertise for the educational sessions, as well.

Breaking News!!! Staff has recently signed the contract and started planning for 2019…. The 27th Annual TALHFA Educational Conference will be held at the Westin Oaks Hotel in Houston. Mark your calendars now to join your friends and colleagues for a GREAT housing event in an amazing city. We hope to see YOU October 2nd – 4th, 2019!!
