Public toiletsCllrHarveywas concerned that the toiletswere not being cleaned to a suitable standard. The clerk said they should be cleaned every day. NeighbourhoodWatch Cllr Salter said a greenhouse had been broken into on the Maidstone Road. VillageHall The fashion showhadmade a profit of £370. Groundsmaintenance Cllr VanHensbergen had cut vegetation away fromthe zipwire. Itwas reported that potato peelings and what looked like bird seedwas being dumped on the BMX track at the KGV field. The hedge along theMaidstone Road had been cut by the groundsmaintenance contractor. The goal postDring had been repaired but another one nowneeded repairing. CllrWalter had volunteered to do this. Telephone box The clerkwas asked to contact BT to see if the box onMaidstone Road could be removed.

Recycling Kent County Council’s HouseholdWaste Recycling Centre Consultationwas launched. The consultation helped deliver the KentWaste Disposal Strategy and seeks views on the proposal to implement a charging policy for non-householdwastematerials including soil, rubble, hard-core and plasterboard, deposited at KentHWRCs. CCTVThe clerkwas asked to investigate short termCCTV and other deterrents for the anti-social behaviour thatwas taking place. Buses Proposed changes to the 59 bus service had been reversed. AllotmentsAnewallotment holder has taken the allotment number sevenwhich had not been rented for years. Notice board The clerk had applied for a grant towards a newnotice board and £300 had been offered. Toilets The door had been vandalised and would nownot lock. The clerk had reported it to the police, and a quote for the repair had been received. The clerkwould seek further quotes.
