This specification is designed to highlight the main issues and concepts that young adults are likely to encounter in their current and future lives, so that they can make better informed decisions and be sensitive to a wide range of viewpoints and challenges. Fieldwork plays an important part in this subject. Recent fieldwork has included visits to Swanage and Barcelona, investigating how Bournemouth has rebranded itself and also the study of coastal processes.
