Eight new members are elected to the council
Eight new members have been elected to the Birmingham Chamber Council, which steers policy and campaign activities. The 30-strong body includes
representatives from Chambers in the group and members of the executive team and also acts as a conduit to the wider membership. Re-elected members: Bridget
Blow (City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra), Steve Brittan (business adviser, BSA Tools Ltd), Lorraine Francis (director, Weave Marketing), Greg Lowson (partner, Pinsent Masons LLP) and Diane Rance (director, Creating Value with People). Newly-elected members: Rina

Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, said: “As the body from which our presidents and vice- presidents emerge, we regard the Chamber Council as an important part of our operations, shaping policy and maintaining a vital link with the membership. “We offer a warm welcome to all
new members and extend our thanks to those people who have devoted their time and expertise in the past. “We had 32 nominations and It
was an incredibly tight vote among the membership for the 14 places available. I place on record the Chamber’s thanks for the amazing and valuable contributions past members of the Council have made. “This body of busy people take
the time to provide us with a vital conduit to the general membership, ensuring that we are able respond to the changing business world. We are always grateful for that.”
