The Brockmans Autumn Tonic

When summer is over and dark, sultry autumn evenings beckon, it’s a time to revisit the classics, but with a seasonal twist.

Brockmans Gin introduces another cocktail from its new Autumn cocktail menu. This is a variation on the much- beloved Brockmans G & T – but with a twist.

The Brockmans Autumn Tonic is created with a flourish of seasonal ingredients including pear and warm spice notes.

If proof were needed that gin is no longer a summer season spirit, this is it. The glorious scent of the spices and fruit means that this can - and no doubt will – stay on menus through to the Festive Season.

This beautifully-presented cocktail is a ‘tonic’ for the senses and the taste-buds.

AUTUMN TONIC

Ingredients:

• 40ml Brockmans Gin • 15ml Spiced Pear Liqueur • 10ml Lemon juice • 20ml Five Spice simple syrup • Fever Tree Tonic

Garnish: Star anise and a sliver of pear.

Method:

Pour the first four ingredients into a Collins glass and top with the tonic water. Add ice and stir a few times. Garnish with star anise and pear slice.
