three special events for October and November. First is MOVIE NIGHT on Friday, October 26——The


exclusive Northeast showing of “The Physics of the Soul,” fea- tures such luminaries as Gary Zukav, Bruce Lipton, Larry Dossey, Norman Shealy (who will also be teaching a full day workshop on Oct. 28). Film maker, Frank Huguenard’s amaz- ing documentary blends the world of science and spirituality with consciousness research, modern physics, and quantum mechanics. Adam M. Curry, one of the hottest inventors and tech entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley,who is also featured in the film, calls it “…a guide to the scientific and spiritual questions from which the 21st century will chart its course.” The movie will be shown at 7PM at the Central Unitarian Church in


Paramus. The second big event is a full dayWORKSHOP- on Sunday,


October 28——CONVERSATIONS WITH G; BRIDGING THE WORLD OF SCIENCE AND SPIRITUALITY presented by Dr. C. Norman Shealy, MD, PhD. This program will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Hasbrouck Heights from 10 AM—5PM. (Bring lunch/cafe also available) Dr. Shealy, neurosurgeon, psycholo- gist, and author, will discuss blending the worlds of traditional and non-traditionalmedicine and healing.Hewill also be intro- ducing his new book, “Conversations with G” in which he explains the ongoing angelic communications and guidance that not only changed his life——but also helped to change the

MYOFASCIAL TRIGGER POINT THERAPY will teach the theory of what trigger points are, how they develop and com- mon locations & referral patterns.You will learn to identify, assess and treat myofascial trigger points throughout the body.You will learn a variety of treatment techniques including, positional and myofascial release, direct pressure, contract/relax and other neu- romuscular techniques


During this 2 day workshop: We will review the anatomical structure of the areas being treat- ed, learn the hands-on techniques, practice and receive the myofascial trigger point therapy. For the hands on work you should bring sheets, a pillow and wear shorts.


Gary Schwander, LMP is approved by the National Certification Board forTherapeutic Massage and Bodywork and the State of Florida as a continuing education provider.Gary has been practicing massage therapy since 1989 and teaching massage courses since 1992.Gary has served as a member of the AMTA National Sports Massage Education Council, as an Athletes’ Medical Services MassageTherapist dur- ing the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games and as a member of the 2002Winter Olympics Sports MassageTeam.Gary has also worked in the NY Mets Rehabilitation Clinic in Port St. Lucie, Florida and currently teaches in Spokane,WA.
