HORSES PROVIDE A NEW WAY TO ENGAGE STAFF

The Ride High Equestrian Centre is offering brand new training and wellbeing programmes involving horses to the corporate sector in Milton Keynes. Staff explore team dynamics,

increase self-awareness and understand the power and impact of non-verbal communication. Persuading a horse to follow you with no rope or rein provides powerful insights into different communication methods and styles. Corporate services include team

building and leadership courses, wellbeing courses for managing employee stress and/or disengagement and CSR days with meeting facilities. Joanna Fay, managing director of

The Ride High Equestrian Centre said: “Horses provide immediate and compelling insights into the ways we behave and how this affects others. We provide courses tailor-made for each business. They combine experiential learning with horses alongside lecture room workshops to create action plans which staff take back into the business.”

The programmes have been very

well received since launch. The chairman of the Black

Country Chamber of Commerce, Bankie Williams, said: “The interaction of horse and business leader was a real eye opener creating insights and some profound challenges to conventional wisdoms

and paradigms about the nature, art and science of leadership.” Ride High are offering Chamber

members a free three-hour taster sessions on 18 and 25 September. To enquire or order a brochure

call 01908 666434 or see the corporate section of the website at www.ridehighequestriancentre.co.uk
