Scholarship Winners Kelly Sotherton
Wiltshire Sports Awards recognise the achievements of those who are talented and dedicated to Sport. It was an opportunity to praise the hard work and commitment of coaches, volunteers and athletes alike. These are the categories awarded to the young people of Wiltshire.
Kelly Sotherton the former heptathlete and 400m sprinter who was the bronze medallist at the 2004 Summer Olympics and was fourth at the 2008 Summer Olympics presented the awards.
Sainsbury’s School Games Awards
The schools that achieved the greatest success across the Wiltshire School Games competitions, were presented their awards on the prestigious evening:

Sports Scholarship Awards
Funding Future Olympians and Paralympian’s Sports Scholarship. The first 10 Scholarship Grants were awarded to the counties most
outstanding young sports people who hope to rise to national acclaim in their chosen sport. The Scholarships will assist young people aged between 8 – 16 years with their training, travel, equipment and competition costs.
