aving run a kitchen manufacturing business for


many years, Peter Sanderson came to the conclusion that with the advent of


many other seemingly similar B2B trade manufacturers that had entered into the arena, his business had potentially lost sight of its S’s. The ompany and its structure had evolved in such a pieemeal’ way that Sanderson felt he really needed to go back to basics in order to better convey the ideas at the heart of the operation.


In June last year, a programme of complete re-structuring and branding was implemented, complemented by a proactive marketing campaign to build a dealer network suitable for eah s rand’ of frnitre.


Based at its HQ and workshops in Ripley, Derbyshire, The Real Kitchen Co was established and with it, the brands Real Classic, Real Simple, Real Retro and Real Green; each with its own target market and learly identified featres.


eal Classi is the ompany’s bespoke in-frame range where any finish, frame or door style is possible with a choice of cabinetry material or speifiations, spplied rigid to the retailer or direct to their customer. Real Simple is a cost- effective furniture solution for the retail customer that wants the in-frame look but with a more limited budget. The clever one-piece Shaker door design incorporates the rail section of the door frame whilst the cabinet itself incorporates the side – style sections of the frame.
