DESIGNER: What is your ideal kitchen layout and appliance nurtin r the he BRADLEY: Well lit, preferably including daylight, with a good outlook over my garden. Recessed ambient lighting for evenings looks cool as well. I would always go for a kitchen diner, as when entertaining guests you can share the moment. firmly elieve in the triangle formula of sink, cooker, fridge within the cooking environment, though would have an under counter fridge for day-to-day items and a large larder fridge for the big stuff.
The layout should also have a twin sink option in the kitchen (food and non- food) with multipurpose hose/tap and oiling water option. don’t lie having utilities within the kitchen area such as washing machine/tumble dryer, so there would ideally be a separate room for these, together with a large sink.

DESIGNER: What kitchen appliance(s) could you never be ithut in yur n he BRADLEY: ood etration there’s nothing worse than a smoefilled kitchen. Ovens will be mounted at chest height. Current cookers can be very impractical with their drop-down doors right in front of your cooking range and also means you have to bend over/crouch to load or check on your produce. I would have two fan-assisted ovens with a steam option on one for baking bread and cooking vegetables, plus microwave. With regards to a range, I would want a combination of indtion ho together with a fiere gas ring offset for wok cookery and griddle.
ht re yur reerred teris in the ithen t he BRADLEY: Extensive work surfaces would be non-scratch, non-porous and heat resistant, but also good looking! The layout
would also include an island. I also prefer hardwearing ooring sh as slate or machined stone.
DESIGNER: What other must-haves shud the ithen inude BRADLEY: It needs to include plenty of storage for equipment and crockery etc, and clean lines on all installations. Kitchen designs that include ambient wine storage are a bad idea as anyone that values a good wine knows that the tating temps in a ithen together with the multitude of smells can ruin a good bottle. A multi-zone wine fridge is a better idea. Finally, although a little indulgent, I would also include an entertainment option such as a smart TV. I love cooking to good music!
