It is purely educational: no oils will be sold nor will advice be given on health issues. It is a compre- hensive, detailed course giving a thorough overview of essen- tial oils. It is a completely revised, expanded version of a former class "The Truth About Essential Oils" with a heavier emphasis on safety, to dispel the many common myths about essential oils and their safe use. Topics: overview of the worldwide EO market; how oils work in the mind and body; adulterated vs. pure oils; modern history & EO pioneers; diverse health bene- fits; general & specific safety guidelines for ingestion, topical application & diffusion; and handling adverse reactions. The Instructor, Lorraine Wolfangel-Hall, is Certified in Essential Oil Safety and is a Member of the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapists.
