ISN’T A WASTE Northamptonshire Chamber’s latest International Trade Forum focused on international trade and waste management handling, sustainability, logistics and the supply chain. The event included a
presentation by waste management specialist Dr Waleed Montasser of IREEMS Ltd, which looked at the problems created and encountered by exporters and importers that handle waste. Businesses also heard from
Patrick Mulhall, of The Alternative Pallet Company Ltd, who spoke about the innovative products his firm is using and how his business is developing as a result. Northamptonshire Chamber
international trade manager Brigid Hodgkinson said: “It was great to see so many businesses at our latest forum. The presentation was very interesting and sparked a lively question and answer session.” The Chamber will run a
round table retail event with a focus on China on 7 August.
