SECTOR FOCUS: LEGAL & FINANCE

Updated website is just the start for Nash & Co Solicitors

Nash & Co Solicitors in Plymouth have recently launched their new website, with much improved functionality, design and navigation. The new site is innovative with some great new features, but professional and clean at the same time. The site was developed in partnership with Bluestone 360. “Our goal was to get users of the

site to where they wanted to get to as quickly and easily as possible,” said Nash & Co’s Managing Partner Jon Loney. “By using the menu system that we worked on with Bluestone, users can get to the information they need in just one click. The menu structure is easy to navigate and users always know exactly where they are.” Three main calls to action run

through the site, allowing users to get to either business or personal legal services or the Nash & Co careers pages. “We figured there were three main types of users that would be using the site – those looking for business services, those looking for personal services and those looking for a job, so we wanted to make it as easy as possible for them to find the relevant information,” added Jon. The site includes

a sophisticated, accurate and easy to use residential property conveyancing cost calculator that returns immediate results for users. For those looking for an idea of pricing structure for other services, these are available throughout the site, including a retainer calculator for employment work. “We’re delighted with the final

product,” said Jon. “This is just the first stage in the evolution of our website. We have a lot of exciting developments planned in the coming year and look forward to giving our clients an even better service, and a more proactive and valuable resource for them to use.” This has been a major project for

Nash & Co this year, and they can now turn their attention to a number of high profile events over the next six months. Nash & Co’s ‘Success in Business’ event will be launched in September, and it’s expected that this will become a twice-yearly fixture in the business calendar for the area. A highly anticipated series of employment law seminars will also launch before

the end of the year, and will be followed by the annual Nash Bash in December. “We really believe in supporting

local businesses and the wider community, and a big part of this is the events that we will be running, and supporting over the next year,” said Jon. Nash & Co are also headline

sponsors for the St Luke’s Neon Midnight Walk, and this is a key project annually for the firm. This year will see 24 of Nash & Co’s employees taking part in the walk, with a host of others getting involved in marshalling and helping on the night. “We see it as one of our

responsibilities to get involved with the Walk as much as we can,” added Jon. “We want to help St Luke’s raise more money and have

more people taking part in the Walk than at any other time in the past, so we try to help publicise and support it in any way that we can. A lot of people know someone who has been either treated at hospital or at home by St Luke’s nurses, or have been admitted to the specialist unit at Turnchapel, so it’s a charity that our staff at Nash & Co really get behind and support. This is a long-term partnership

for us, and the walk is something that we look forward to every year. It costs more than £10m to run St Luke’s Hospice every year, and last year they treated more than 3,500 people. This is a charity that we have to get right behind, and we hope that others in the area will join us in supporting them.” “Our three-year sponsorship of the DJM Football League has just

come to an end and we are now considering several other high profile and exciting events to get behind and support. Corporate Social Responsibility is something that we take very seriously at Nash & Co and it’s especially important to us that we play our role in making a valuable and positive impact in our local community.”
