Biggest-ever Devon Business Show is spectacular success
This year’s Devon Business Show, held at Plymouth Pavilions on Wednesday 13 June, was a huge success. Exhibitors at the show have praised the number of high quality contacts made and the calibre of visitors present. Sponsored by Martin Luck Group
and with Radio Plymouth as our media partner, the event has nearly doubled in size since its original creation in 2013 where it showcased 70 businesses. This year’s show saw an extensive range of activities for all visitors to get involved with. With over 150 exhibitors on the

Richard Stevens, Chairman of the Devon Chamber of Commerce said: “As the largest event in the Chamber calendar, Devon Business Show offers a prime opportunity for businesses from across the County to highlight the exemplary business activity within the South West. The Chamber is delighted that this year’s Business Show has been so successful, and would like to thank all sponsors, exhibitors and visitors for their support in contributing to this stand out business event. Plans are already underway for Devon Business Show 2019, and the Chamber will continue to develop and grow this event to raise the profile of Devon as an
important economic centre for the country.” This year’s show saw exhibitors from across
Devon and Cornwall, showcasing the thriving economy here in the South West. Demonstrating the popularity of Devon, the free flow was constant throughout the day with visitors from the local area and beyond able to take part in various activities. It also provided them with the opportunity to engage with other businesses, taking full advantage of the unique networking opportunity. Stephen Whitfield, Director of Archery
Assault, visited the event and said: “There was a pleasant greeting on the way in with a very obvious flow of visitors. There was the opportunity to meet and talk with each stall- holder, with very little footfall congestion and generally a welcoming atmosphere.”
Devon Chamber of Commerce has announced that the Devon Business Show will return next year.
