Summer is at last upon us, with pure sunshine day after day. We must all make sure our horses are kept hydrated with sufficient moisture in their diet, and also take care of their limbs on this hard ground.

On 10th July, CHN welcomed back photographer, Cathy Hattam. Cathy, sister of former Editor Barbara Gadd, took a 16 year break but is nowonce again available to take pictures at events. She is fantastic photographer; a portrait photo from her makes a fantastic gift for a loved one.

CHN continues to grow, extending coverage to include Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

Have fun this summer. See you in September.

Heather.
