Given to the town by the Carew family and renowned for its Pine Walk. Replanted in 1927 following major felling and now covering more than 16 acres. Includes the 1.81 hectare Ben Stedham's Wood, renamed in 1968 when gifted to the town by Fred Stedham who had inherited it from his father's estate; Iron Age hill fort Milber Down at top of wood.
