MEMBER NEWS Support Dartmoor conservation

Dartmoor is a special place full of wildlife, historical treasures and wide open spaces to explore. It is home to rare and threatened species, found in the moor’s ancient woodlands, hay meadows and pastures, as well as a wealth of prehistoric remains such as stone circles, burial cairns and settlements. There are fascinating medieval farmsteads,

clapper bridges and ancient stone crosses as well as unique examples of our industrial heritage – all speaking to us of times gone by. With 450 miles of footpaths and bridleways crossing the National Park and the vast expanses of open moor, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the view. To look after all of this Dartmoor needs

help. Dartmoor National Park runs projects to support the wildlife, environment, cultural heritage and future of Dartmoor. However funding is needed to continue with this work so that the moor can be enjoyed now and in the future. Dartmoor National Park is looking for

businesses who would like to get involved in supporting key conservation projects through the Donate for Dartmoor scheme.
