The Plymouth One Cup is an alternative to single-use cups which often cannot be recycled

Do your bit and buy the Plymouth One Cup

In an effort to promote more multi-use solutions to the use of plastics and to try and reduce landfill, Plymouth- based Redrok and community network One Plymouth have joined forces to bring to the marketplace the One Plymouth Cup. The cups will be available to buy from a variety of

local cafes and businesses. Each purchase will donate 25p to the National Marine Aquarium to help fund their vital research projects and their marine conservation agenda. A full list of businesses supporting the cause will be

posted on the One Plymouth website and social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Owning a cup will give purchasers discounts and offers at local businesses. Some cups will contain

‘golden ticket’ prizes to be won such as day trips, entry tickets and meal vouchers and more. The thermal, lightweight cups are microwave and dishwasher safe and BPA free. The cup is extremely durable, is a long- life product designed to last, with a screw top lid making it spill proof and is manufactured in the UK. Purchasers of the One Plymouth Cup can follow a

dedicated Facebook group: www.facebook.com/groups/oneplymouthcup/ and benefit from special discounts when using it at participating cafes. Use the hashtag #DoingMyBit to share your efforts.
