Devon Chamber bids farewell to Chief Executive
Devon Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive George Cowcher has announced his retirement and will retire at the end of June after two-and-a-half years in the high-profile post. Mr Cowcher has been instrumental in the growth and
development of the accredited Devon Chamber of Commerce from its roots in the original Plymouth Chamber. By forging ground-breaking and important partnerships and affiliations with other Chambers and business organisations, Mr Cowcher has not only raised Devon Chamber’s profile on the regional and national stage but has contributed significantly to Devon having a stronger voice on the key issues and challenges its businesses face.
