A new wave of business for Devon family firm


A Devon family business, New Wave Marine, is working across the UK and is finding its turnover rocketing. The company is involved in


industrial, domestic, waste management, and its niche market in the marine and defence sector, is now a 24/7 service. Managing Director Jason Parsons


said: “Our Rapid Response Unit is on call, and doing jobs across the


country from Scotland, Wales, London, Ipswich, Bristol, Gloucester, to Devon and Cornwall, and is resulting in a three-fold turnover. “We are on a huge growth curve


and recently expanded our operations at the Scott Business Park based in Plymouth. “We are a new member of the

Get out on the green for charity golf day


Saltram Rotary Club is looking for support for its Charity Golf Day at Stover Golf Club, Newton Abbot on Thursday 14 June. Last year’s event was enjoyed by over 60 golfers and raised £2,000 for Children’s Hospice South West and Macmillan Cancer Support. This year the golf day returns to Stover, one of the most beautiful parkland courses in the South West featuring a wide variety of holes, mature trees, streams and picturesque ponds. Golfers of all abilities are welcome. The Club’s chosen charities for this event are Hugs From Henry and


Friends and Families of Special Children, two Plymouth-based charities providing support to families where children are affected by cancer or disability respectively.
