Celebrating RAF100 | 21

Air Tattoo spokesman Richard Arquati said although the line-up was already looking impressive there were still many more aircraft to be announced.

He said: “The RAF centenary is an opportunity not only for people to show their appreciation of the Royal Air Force both in terms of what it has achieved in the past and what it is doing today – but it’s also about inspiring young people who may one day decide to join the Service or pursue a career in related industries such as engineering or aerospace.

“We’re doing our bit by offering all under-18s the chance to experience the Air Tattoo for free – and by bringing the important STEM subjects to life in the most exciting way possible.”

The Royal International Air Tattoo takes place on July 13-15 and is staged in support of the RAF Charitable Trust. Visit airtattoo.com to book your general admission tickets and to view the wide range of enclosure options –and remember, this year general admission to the Air Tattoo is free for all under 18s who are accompanied by aticket holder.
