CHAMBER BACKS MOBILE CAMPAIGN

Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce is supporting a new campaign to end poor mobile voice coverage in the UK. The ‘No More Not Spots’ campaign has recently been launched by the British Chambers of Commerce to bring together business communities and communication providers in a bid to improve poor mobile coverage. Milton Keynes Chamber chief

executive Paul Griffiths said: “Despite welcome investment, ‘not spots’ still exist, particularly surrounding our area’s road and rail corridors. Often caused by oversights in the planning processes, the underperforming digital infrastructure is a barrier to business growth that the industry and Government must address. “We’re asking businesses to

report gaps in coverage to the BCC on Twitter, sharing photos and videos, using the hashtag #ShareYourNotSpots. “This information will be used to

represent our business community as we engage with mobile operators, industry stakeholders and political representatives to identify coverage solutions and call for investment and service improvements.”
