Jake Barrow is sent to Coventry to catch up with Ashley Bulpitt, the Head Greenkeeper at Copsewood Grange Golf Club. A nine‐hole course too close for comfort to the River Sowe, it had recently suffered a major flood that swamped the whole site for close to a week, resulting in remedial work that tested the small team to the limit.

Royal Dornoch Golf Club’s two courses lie on the exposed north‐east coast of Scotland. To reach this area takes a four hour drive from Edinburgh.
