Pitchcare Classifieds Product News A round-up of the latest product news announced in recent weeks
John Deere has introduced the 1200H bunker rake, which will be available from the company’s professional turf dealer network this spring.
Complementing the existing 1200A model, the newly styled 1200H version offers the additional benefit of a hydrostatic transmission. This provides excellent pulling and pushing power to deliver a premium, trouble‐free finish whatever the application. Additional operator friendly features include an adjustable seat and wide running boards.
Kubota UK has launched a new professional zero turn ride-on mower.
Engineered to create a superior cut every time, the ZD1211 is equipped with a three‐ blade, 140 mm deep, 1.5m rear discharge deck, and optional mulching kit. This is combined with Kubota’s unique baffling system, a new technology that has been specifically designed and developed in the UK to maximise mulching performance.
The ZD1211’s front axle offers two positions, oscillating or rigid. This allows users to achieve their desired cut easier as the machine adapts to the terrain they are working with. In the oscillating position, the mower will follow the contours of the ground and in the rigid position, the mower will offer a uniformed cut.
The machine’s front axle is also offset, which means the front wheels are aligned with the return stroke of the blades. This raises the grass where the wheels have travelled over, then cuts the grass to provide an even cut of excellent quality.
Powered by a three‐cylinder Kubota 18.5kw diesel engine, the ZD1211 features HST transmission for smooth responses and easy directional change, including making a zero turn. It has a 49‐litre fuel load capacity.
Adjustable operating levers and a luxury seat with reinforced suspension and elevated backrest ensure greater productivity whilst minimising fatigue.
Foley United is upping the game by adding three new grinders to their range, with six models to cater for every method regardless of budget, including the addition of their first spin only grinder in the ACCU-Spin 622 SO.
Kubota has also introduced its new B1 (standard spec) and B2 Series (premium spec) tractors, which supersede its existing B Series range of compact tractors.
The premium B2 Series builds on from the industry leading B50 Series. The four new models, ranging from 20‐31kw, feature the unique Bi‐speed turn, which enables operators to achieve a significantly reduced turning radius. Three of the models feature Kubota’s renowned 3‐cylinder diesel engine, whilst the 31kw model is powered by Kubota’s powerful 4‐cylinder diesel engine.
For those looking for more of a standard spec machine, the new B1 Series is the ideal choice. With four models ranging from 12 to 24kw.

The new ACCU‐Spin 622 series is packed with design features only available from Foley United. The Patented Rear Roller Mounting System locates the reel by the rear roller, minimising issues that can arise when locating the reel by the front roller and is standard on all Foley United table top reel grinders. The Live Shaft Spin Hub design effectively and efficiently produces a sharp edge in a shorter time.
A huge benefit of the new 622 series is that all the features from the SG and SGR models can be added to the base unit as an aftermarket purchase, if and when they are wanted. These features include the L.E.D Gauging that gives the operator an easy visual adjustment process ensuring the removal of taper and a perfect cylindrical grind every time.
Also available is the Auto‐Index Relief Assembly. This labour free system allows hands‐free blade to blade indexing, making the final step to returning reels to OEM specs a simple process.
This trio of reel grinders all provide a high level of health and safety with the machine doors greatly reducing noise during grinding whilst simultaneously reducing any risks to health by preventing exposure to dust and vibration.
The three‐wheel drive hydrostatic powertrain develops significant torque to push or pull heavy loads at speeds of up to 10mph. The 10‐to‐1 steering ratio, combined with a compact steering wheel, allow extremely tight turns and easy handling.
The standard 1.8m (72in) rear three‐section rake delivers excellent coverage for bunker, arena or construction work and is simple to detach from the hitch when changing jobs. In addition, the front‐mounted blade is designed for easy lifting and lowering and maximum uptime, assisted by convenient and easy to reach instruments and electronic controls.

GreenTek’s highly discreet Dyna-Corer is three individual units mounted on a greens triple mower, with a 60" working width.
Greenkeepers regularly face the challenge of how to get essential greens maintenance tasks done, such as hollow coring, without disrupting play or disturbing putting surfaces. This has led to an increase in micro coring, as causing much less visible disruption.
The GreenTek Dyna‐Corer units take this method to a totally new level. The highly manoeuvrable power unit enables greens to be hollow cored (or solid tined) in just minutes.
The Dyna‐Corer’s micro tines effectively remove thousands of tiny core plugs, and this coring depth can be precisely adjusted down to a maximum of 25mm.
The units provide excellent preparation before seeding and also relieves surface compaction, which we all know is important to prevent sealing to enable air and water to reach the rootzone.
Dyna‐Corer’s interchangeable tine options include hollow core tines, solid tines, needle tines and cross tines. This gives a multitude of fast micro coring options, at different depths, all from a greens triple mower.
The Dyna‐Corer is part of GreenTek's renowned Dynamic Range, which includes Dyna‐Corer, Dyna‐Seeder, Dyna‐Spiker and Dyna‐Brush.

Joining the new machines is the economical but full featured ACCU‐Sharp 618 precision reel grinder. With the ability to do touch‐up spin but also perform gauging and relief grinding as well as an optional bed‐knife grinding attachment.
The final addition is the ACCU‐Pro 661 AT/MT bed‐ knife. Like the 618, it has all the features required of a professional grinder but at a lower price point. Two versions are available the AT (automatic traverse) and the MT (manual traverse).
